Position: Senior Manager I, Data Science

Job Location: 702 S.W. 8th Street, Mail Stop 0215, Bentonville, AR 72716

Telecommuting/working from anywhere in the U.S. is permissible.

Duties: Design and develop innovative models and algorithms for Walmart\'s last mile delivery network and ecosystem. Develop intelligent solutions for Network transformation, such as network design, flow optimization, inventory placement, and monetization strategies. Apply various techniques from operations research, machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, causal inference, and statistics to solve problems. Help CENTROID team in developing supply chain strategies, capital allocation, and intelligent decision engines. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences. This position does not supervise other employees. Telecommuting/working from anywhere in the U.S. is permissible.

Minimum education and experience required: Masters degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field and 2 years of experience in an analytics related field; OR Bachelors degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field and 4 years of experience in an analytics related field.

Skills required: Experience with mathematical programming and optimization modeling techniques including Linear Programming and Mixed Integer Programming. Experience with one of the following optimization toolkits and libraries: CPlex, Gurobi, XpressMP, or open-source solvers. Experience with advanced ML modeling techniques including Clustering, SVM, Random Forest, and Reinforcement learning. Experience with machine learning libraries including Scikit, Tensorflow, Pytorch, and Keras. Experience coding in Python and object-oriented programming. Experience with data querying using SQL. Experience communicating results to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams. Experience with supply chain, last mile delivery, or the retail industry. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: \$143,000/year to \$286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
