Primary Purpose

Responsible for serving as technical resource for Operations/Production.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.

  • Assist in determining most effective fuel blending method and fuel compatibility.

  • Provide guidance during planning inbound schedule to maximize production.

  • Provide technical assistance during processing of materials that have safety concerns.

  • Coordinate and monitor activities in the plant (full coverage, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week) for inbound and outbound shipments by interfacing with transportation, production, lab, guards, and transporter.

  • Sample tanks daily.

  • Assist with managing aging inventory.

  • Assist with feed blending for unit operations.

  • Assist production technicians to minimize disposal costs.

Education: Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related science required.

Knowledge and Abilities: Must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds. Must wear all required protective equipment, and work in an outdoor environment and withstand exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
