Line Pump Operator / Boom Truck Operator
Duties:
- Assist and learn from the operator about pumping concrete.
- Keep truck, pump, hoses, and clamps clean and in safe working condition.
- Evaluate the site conditions and set up the truck appropriately.
- Uses and cares for tools and equipment associated with and including the concrete pump and truck.
- Will be responsible for assisting mechanic with routine maintenance and as well as repairs to pumping equipment as necessary.
- Loads and unloads concrete pump equipment and attachments.
- Complies with safety regulations and precautionary measures by the American Concrete Pumping Association while operating the concrete pump - protects self and others by following work safe procedures.
- Conducts routine maintenance and assist with repairs to the machinery.
- Communicates effectively, is flexible, and discusses and resolves issues.
Education:
- High School or Higher
- Would train the right candidate that currently holds a valid Drivers License
Position Requirements:
- Must have valid and clean driver's license, Class C: CDL - B requires for Boom Pump
- Proficient in driving a straight drive car/truck
- Must be Drug Free - required to take pre-employment drug test
- Will teach knowledge of the concrete industry - understanding concrete and mix designs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Physically fit, punctual, dependable and hardworking
- Willingness to work over-time as required
Salary Range:
- $16.00+ depending on experience and license type
- Full-time, Permanent
Availability:
- Hours vary - Work is scheduled on an on-call basis (3am to 7pm)
