Saw Shear Operator/Delivery Driver, Bensalem, PA 19020
Responsibilities
- Cut customer orders to customer specifications using metal cutting equipment such as saws, hydraulic shear, etc.
- Safely operate forklift to move material around the Warehouse
- Receive, identify and stock incoming materials, as required
- Inventory maintenance & control
- Assist in proper maintenance of equipment (saws, forklift etc.) ensuring safety first for everyone
- Ensure Warehouse is clean, organized and safe always
- Deliver customer orders in a flatbed truck (non-CDL) within deadline
- Load and unload material on delivery truck
- Helping out processing orders in the warehouse
- Perform other duties as requested
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen
- Ability to accurately use measuring instruments -- tape measures, dial calipers
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbally and written
- 2 years' driving experience
- Valid Driver's license, clean driving record (non-CDL) and insurable
- Physically able to frequently lift/move metal product weighing 50 -100 lbs
Job Type: Full time
Hours: Mon - Fri, 8:00 - 5:00, No weekends
Shift: Day shift, No nights
Pay: $17 per hour
