Overview

The Vermont Veterans\' Home (VVH) is seeking to hire a receptionist to work every other weekend from 8:00am to 4:30pm. This position requires excellent customer service skills as you will be the first point of contact at VVH. You will manage a multi-line phone system and provide clerical support for various projects which requires knowledge of Microsoft Word.

Environmental Factors

Employees in this class will be expected to work in any of the assigned sections; assignments may vary on a daily basis. This class is utility in nature and employees must be flexible in changing from one type of work and location to another on short notice. Considerable standing, walking, and lifting, and carrying of heavy objects may be required. Incumbents must be prepared to drive a vehicle in all types of weather.
