Adecco US, Inc. Manufacturing Trainer in Bennettsville, South Carolina

Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Bennettsville, SC to find an experienced and eager Manufacturing Trainer to join their growing team!

As a qualified IPC Trainer / Electronics Inspector, your primary responsibility will be to train Assemblers, Technicians, Quality Inspectors, and pertinent Engineers in J-STD-001 and IPC-620 policies and procedures. As time allows, you will also inspect product and conduct/participate in various Regulatory, Customer and Internal Audits. This position operates with limited supervision. Experience within electronics manufacturing/inspection of PCBs, electronic assemblies, cable/wire harness assemblies and related technologies a plus.

Qualified applicants must have manufacturing production experience that would include ability to work from drawings, diagrams, schematics, and specific verbal and written instructions. Follow and understand prescribed work methods, with pro-active aptitude. IPC-qualification - or IPC- certification training - a plus. Must be able to instruct and train individuals on job processes and classroom work.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Conducts and performs training, coaching, and mentoring.

• Develops and executes training schedules.

• Ensure Operators maintain scheduled training to meet certification requirements.

• Maintains training programs and materials.

• Evaluates training programs and reports on trainee progress.

• Provide assistance to the manufacturing engineers with 1st Article build and/or review of work instructions for production aids, evaluation of manufacturing processes and material list.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to instruct others in quality and manufacturing processes and procedures

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

• Maintain certification as Certified IPC Trainer (CIT) J-STD-001 and IPC-620

Prior aerospace experience in electrical and mechanical, including but not limited to Soldering, Electrical Assemblies and Crimping a plus.

Pay rate for this position is $16 - $22 based on experience.

Pay Details: $16.00 to $22.00 per hour
