Google Technical Solution Engineer, Google Play in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of experience coding in a general purpose coding language or in system design, and troubleshooting and advocating for customers' needs, and triaging technical issues.

  • 4 years of experience in Android development.

  • 6 years of experience with 2 or more of the following: Web Tech, Data/Big Data, Systems Admin, Machine Learning, Networking, Kubernetes, Oracle, SAP.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in technical consulting on supporting large enterprise customers with high service-level objective and service-level agreement requirements.

  • Foundational Knowledge of mobile app development on Android or iOS development.

  • Work with developers to drive adoption of high quality Google Play features and services.

  • Develop advanced product knowledge with specialization in one or more components, including dependencies on other products and teams.

  • Work with external developers, generate developer insights, create written guidance, write example code, author blog posts, design APIs, and propose product changes.

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Google Play’s products/solutions and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for developer reported issues, and building tools for faster diagnosis.
