Job Description
Java Engineer
Roles and Responsibilities :
In this role, you will:
Proficient in Core Java 8 or above.
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot and other related frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy microservices-based applications
Develop and maintain APIs that are scalable, secure, and highly available
Implement NoSQL databases for storage and retrieval of large data sets
Configure and maintain AWS services and infrastructure such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
Build and deploy applications using Kubernetes and containerization technologies such as Docker
Ensure the application is highly performant, secure, and scalable
Write and maintain automated tests to ensure the quality of the code.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in Java development
Strong understanding of Java 8+ features and related frameworks such as SpringBoot
Experience in developing microservices-based applications and RESTful APIs
Hands-on experience in streaming based on Kafka is a must
Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB
Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
Candidate should have good knowledge on how to build Cloud Native apps
Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies such as Docker
Understanding of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitOps, etc.
Candidate should have understanding on design patterns & system design thinking
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and debugging skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Candidate should be a good team player
