Job Description:

SNOW Tester

SNOW Tester Analyze the development and execution of repeatable test procedures to validate the quality of ServiceNow Experience in testing various modules within ServiceNow applications (e. g. Change, Incident, Knowledge, Problem, CMDB, Integrations) developed in an Agile environment. Work closely with developers to ensure quality is built into solutions and contribute to the final decision on whether a software release is ready to deploy to production. Analyze creation test documents, including test plans, test procedures, requirements verification traceability matrices, and test summary reports. Conduct functional, regression, and system integration testing and support user acceptance testing, including documenting all reported issues found during the testing life cycle. Work closely with other team members during software application troubleshooting and technical diagnosis.

Responsibilities:

· Should be able to do Test Case Design, Test Planning and Test Strategies.

  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and detailed test cases.

  • Perform regression/progression testing when bugs are resolved.

  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and operational efficiencies.

  • Work to develop and apply automated testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.

  • Testing experience on Service Catalog Integration Hub and Flow Designer and general integration.

  • Provide technical expertise to decompose epics/features into testable and measurable user stories.

Skills/Qualifications:

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. Knowledge on automation tools such as ATF, Selenium, QTP is an added advantage. Proven work experience in software quality assurance and development. Software Platforms – Sales Force and ServiceNow. Certification in ServiceNow Administration and ServiceNow Certified ATF would be advantageous. Test Management Processes and optimal testing tool capabilities: Minimum 3-5 Years experience

  • Test Automation – ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF’s) scripts.

  • Test Data Management (ETL and Data Modeling)

  • Software Development Life Cycle with innovations relating to early pre-Production detection of defects in SDLC.

  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE); Best Practices Implementation. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

  • Knowledge of software QA solutions, tools and processes, Test Framework Design and Test Strategies to Improve Operational efficiencies.

  • Experience in writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

  • Good understanding of REST API's.

Education and Qualification:

Bachelor level degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field of study.
