Job Description Summary

Software Project Manager/Lead Program Integrator is responsible for driving small to mid-sized software program execution for a product, advanced technology per plan for X-ray generators as well as for software tools necessary for engineering usage within Imaging Sub Systems group of GE HealthCare.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identify critical dependencies and lead development of cross-functional activities

  • Identify Program Risk and develop contingency plans to target outcomes

  • Responsible for developing and managing engineering / technology projects. Interfaces with internal/external customers to ensure organization resource allocation is made.

  • Accountable to deliver the scope of work to the original cost estimate. Manages schedule, budget and integration of new product introduction, advanced technology programs & other medium to small scale projects

  • Drive execution control and operating mechanisms to commitments, including recovery plan

  • Escalate and resolve (where possible) resource issues that impact commitments

  • Manage test configurations (hardware, software, test facilities, etc.)

  • Review Verification Plan & Report

  • Creation and drive review of the Milestone Review Package & Milestone readiness sign-off

  • Play the role of scrum master for small sized program as needed

  • Individual contributor role with proven interpersonal skills to influence and drive projects

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.

  • 6+ years’ experience in embedded software development for complex system and architecture

  • Experience in Agile methodology

  • Having Program Management and SCRUM Master experience

  • Familiarity with programming language like C/C++ Knowledge of the software development lifecycle

  • Experience in interacting and driving to closure actions with cross functional teams

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, and execute programs.

  • Experience in Agile development is desirable.

  • Other programming languages like Python, Java etc

  • Exposure to SW/FW/ Product development in power/ control domain / X-ray generator designs
