Job Description

Oracle Analytics Cloud is a comprehensive analytics platform that provides a wide range of analytic and reporting capabilities. It offers advanced and innovative features in core analytics, ensuring enterprise-class performance, security, scalability, and manageability. Working on cloud technologies, the development team focuses on applications and frameworks to model and manage the common semantic metadata model for Analytics, which is central to its ability to query from federated sources.

The product delivers unified functionality for managing and administering all metadata, including sources, calculations, and permissions, to enable enterprises to achieve a single source of truth for all their analytic requirements. The ideal candidate should be someone with a strong passion, deep knowledge, and extensive experience in product development, particularly in building highly scalable software products for cloud deployments. Past exposure to analytics products would be a preferred qualification. The responsibilities of the role include designing and developing features for the Analytic Server, creating microservices, and integrating with other components.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters in CS/ECE/EE

10+ years' experience in building distributed and scalable enterprise systems using broad range of enterprise technologies with extensive experience in C++, Java/J2EE, XML, Web services(REST/SOAP), Kubernetes, Docker

Strong passion and interest in learning and working on new technology innovations

Excellent knowledge and experience with data structures, Algorithms with great problem solving skills.

Strong object oriented programming and design skills.

Extensive experience in engineering cloud products.

Knowledge of Multithreading, Databases.

Exposure to Software Development Processes for building Enterprise class products.

This position requires an individual who is creative, team-oriented, a quick learner and driven to produce results.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
