Oracle Software Developer 1 in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

As a member of the software engineering division, you will use basic knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing/enhancing test/integration framework, debugging or designing software test applications or operating systems according to provided feature specifications.

Career Level - IC1

Responsibilities

Ideal candidates should have,

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with hands-on experience in the design and automation of enterprise applications.

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent area.

  • Excellent analytic, problem-solving, oral and written communication skills with the ability to thrive in a high performance team

  • Domain experience in telecommunications protocols, such as SS7 CAMEL, MAP, and IP protocols such as Diameter.

  • Design, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

  • Unix admin and user skill level e.g. Writing simple to complex bash shell script to run tests

  • SQL query construction e.g. To get results of test out of a database table

  • Seagull or other command line tool use in telco protocol testing

  • Testing of SS7 or diameter protocol products, e.g. CAMEL, MAP, DIAMETER

  • Automation test writing in native script languages (python, ruby)

  • Knowledge of software development Agile methodology, build tools and product life cycle

  • Domain experience in the Telecom billing/Mediation, 5G is a plus
