MMS Infusion is looking for a SW Architect who has passion for learning, developing high quality, customer focused and impactful SW products. You will be responsible for developing a deep technical understanding of Infusion connectivity product, interacting with other Teams and Lead Architect, evaluating their systems, and designing product integrations. The position will act as a consultant within Connectivity internal teams to help create architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team. This is a hands-on software development position. Position Summary:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive discussions with technical stakeholders to uncover strategic needs and align on key technologies

  • Establish systems and solution design in large, sophisticated, data-intensive systems

  • Partner with external teams, evaluate architectures, and make recommendations on implementations and improvements

  • Drive architecture and software patterns and standard methodologies across the department and provide technical guidance and mentorship to application development teams.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive view of current and future state architecture that align with the business strategy.

  • Act as an individual contributor (Hands-on Developer) to implement designs with application teams.

  • Conduct POCs on new technologies and build vs buy analysis to determine suitability of tech stack expansion.

  • Drive to a team culture that values quality, robustness, and scalability while fostering innovation.

  • Work in a scrum-based agile development process that plans, and builds features targeted to a release.

  • By applying an agile mindset, fosters the incremental delivery of value by the team and directly supports the grooming, refinement, development, and testing activities of the team as-a-whole through the collaboration and collective definition of story acceptance criteria.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum BTech/MTech/MS in computer science, engineering, or relevant field

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience building enterprise-quality software products.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in developing SW Medical Devices or Information systems.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience being responsible for or leading system architectural decisions

  • Minimum of 3+ years designing and building cloud and hybrid applications (MS Azure preferred)

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Detailed knowledge of software systems development and architecture best practices and patterns.

  • Broad exposure to system integrations, integration patterns and standard methodologies

  • Excellent knowledge of distributed systems principles, design, and architecture.

  • Proven technical expertise in the following.

  • Cloud (Azure or AWS), Microservices Architecture, Message based distributed systems,

  • Healthcare/ Regulated industry Experience

  • C# / .NET / React, Hands-On experience as a developer, Experience in multiple stacks is a major plus

  • Must have in depth experience with multiple products from at least one cloud provider

  • Must have experience working with global SW teams

  • Knowledge and experience with C# NET, NUnit, SQL, GitHub Actions, Http/REST, Azure DevOps, AKS, K8s, Docker, Kafka, MiniKube, Docker Desktop, Microservice, Terraform, JMeter, gRPC ,TLS, Cypress, Dapr, Distributed system architecture
