Google Senior Technical Program Manager Lead, Google Play Apps in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in program management.

  • Experience in managing programs or projects, across teams and organizations.

  • Experience managing transformational or organizational impact across multiple vertical(s), industries, or geographical areas.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to produce frameworks and documents that communicate strategy, status, scope, timelines, task planning, action items, risks, issues, project dependencies, test planning, or rollout planning.

  • Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups.

  • Excellent program management fundamentals (e.g., planning, execution, estimation, risk management, stakeholder management).

  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.

  • Partner with Engineering and Program Management Directors and Tech Lead Managers to accelerate organization execution.

  • Manage the organization portfolio planning and prioritization. Partner with Engineering and Product, drive roadmap/Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) planning, milestones, and software schedules.

  • Propose, present, and iterate on proposals with cross site, cross-Product Area, and executive audiences.

  • Design processes and introduce governance to reduce complexity and improve communication.

  • Partner with and build relationships across functional, organizational, and product area boundaries.
