Google Senior Software Engineer, Mobile, Android, Finder in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.

  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

  • 3 years of experience in Android application development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience as an Android application designer and developer in Java and/or Kotlin development.

  • Experience in building high quality Android UI.

  • Experience working in a team distributed across multiple sites.

  • Experience in developing web applications.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

  • Design, implement, and launch new features across the find my device technology stack, including web front-end, server back-end, Android application, and Google Play services modules.

  • Partner with and build productive collaborations with Program Manager, UX and Engineering across our other sites.

  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to team members.

  • Demonstrate a focus on engineering excellence and build high quality user experiences.
