Shell Senior Software Engineer - Environment in Bengaluru, India

Where you fit in

The role will be working directly with Technical SMEs to design and build Infrastructure Environments for our Upcoming New Endur Migration Program in North America.

The role is expected to work in predominately the DevOps way of working. This individual, being an “Environment Manger” responsible for Design, Plan, Build and Deploy Azure Infrastructure for the upcoming Endur Migration Program and supporting the environments.

The role position will work in project and/or application support teams in the delivery of projects and may include tasks from every part of the Project.

  • Responsible for Azure Cloud environment design and deploy of Environments for Program

  • Automation of Builds and Optimization

  • Establishing Release management process

  • Managing On-Premises Vs Cloud Environments

  • Define Test Strategy for Infrastructure

  • Managing Patches for Environments.

  • Analyzing issues and providing solutions/RCA

  • Performance Optimization

  • Determine and design solutions that are scalable and sustainable for a global business!

  • Establish and maintain stakeholder satisfaction levels. Build and develop strong trust relationships with the stakeholders demonstrated through clearly owning, resolving, and communicating issues and problems.

  • Identify CI’s in WoW

  • Be the face of team to Business / stakeholders

What we need from you

  • At least 8 to 10 years of corporate IT experience

  • Bachelor's Degree related to IT or equivalent

  • Cloud Environment Design, planning, and Implementation.

  • Azure Pipelines, build & release management.

  • Work Experience in Oracle/SQL DB

  • Hands on Experience on Installation

  • Good exposure to Release Management

  • Should have worked in Energy/Commodity Trading and Risk Management Applications like Endur or Findur

  • Connex gateways, Domain / Cluster / Grid services.

  • Automating Builds & Post Refresh, optimizing the process and Automation.

  • Migration of Application from OnPrem to Cloud
