About our Role

The Senior QE will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, robust, and scalable software applications through automated and manual testing. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Java, UI, and API testing along with experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using Jenkins. Familiarity with Docker, WebSocket, and Serenity BDD is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Java-based applications, including UI and backend APIs.

  • Design, implement, and execute automated tests and report results.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

  • Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and regularly check on the execution of automated tests.

  • Investigate and recreate reported defects.

  • Work with Docker for environment setup and management, ensuring test consistency and scalability.

  • Manage test environments, test devices, and test data.

  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and report on test activities and project progress.

  • Stay current with new testing tools and test strategies, and share knowledge with the team.

  • Guide and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

  • Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.

  • Knowledge of Websockets and real-time communication systems.

  • Experience with Serenity BDD or similar behavior-driven development frameworks.

  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and quickly adapt to new challenges.
