Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to play a crucial role in protecting our digital assets across hybrid cloud environments and proprietary application platforms. This position is ideal for a cybersecurity professional who excels in developing security strategies, enhancing security architectures, and implementing best practices in cybersecurity.   • Develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies for hybrid cloud and application security to ensure our defenses are resilient against cyber threats.

  • Mentor and support a team of cybersecurity professionals, encouraging professional development and fostering a culture of innovation.

  • Design secure infrastructures for cloud-based and traditional systems in compliance with standards like ISO 27001, NIST, and NERC CIP.

  • Perform security assessments and audits, identify vulnerabilities, and lead remediation efforts to strengthen our cybersecurity defenses.

  • Create and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls, with a focus on secure application development and deployment.

  • Utilize and manage advanced cybersecurity technologies (SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAFs, SAST/DAST) to improve our security stance.

  • Participate in incident response efforts, contributing to investigations and resolutions to minimize impact and avert future breaches.

  • Work closely with IT, DevOps, Platform Engineering and software development teams to integrate security practices into the development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of cybersecurity training for employees, highlighting secure coding practices and enhancing organizational security awareness.

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, especially in application security, to continually refine our security practices.

  • Engage in the cybersecurity community, sharing knowledge and practices to establish our company as a thought leader in application and cloud security.

  • At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on hybrid cloud security and application security.

  • Professional cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) preferred.

  • Demonstrated capability in developing and executing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and improvements.

  • Proficient in incident management and well-versed in security technologies related to application and cloud security.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and the integration of security within CI/CD pipelines.

  • Understanding of compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, NIST, NERC CIP) and their impact on cybersecurity strategies.

  • Experience working in geographically dispersed teams, demonstrating strong capabilities in remote collaboration and communication.

Qualifications

The candidate should have a B.E/B.Tech/B.SC degree in Information Technology or any related field .The candidate should have a work experience of 7-10 years.
