Data Expertise: You’ll need to be comfortable swimming in SQL while surfacing to explain the insights clearly to executive audiences. You like building performant and robust data pipelines.

Domain Expert: Not only do you deeply understand the areas you work in, but you are also committed at explaining the “so what” to partners. You will build and develop relationships across organizations and define new operational strategies, working with the leadership team on special projects.

Great Teammate and Creative Problem Solver: Thrive in an ambiguous environment by proactively identifying challenges and working with teams to find creative solutions.

Clear Communicator: Your status reports are articulate, crisp, and updates rolled up to the appropriate level appropriate based on the audience. You flag and report potential risks to internal and external team members, and are adept at representing your reports (verbally & written) to senior leaders.

Act With Vitality: You are proactive, have bias for action, and are constantly looking for opportunities to improve exiting reporting experience or identifying new ones which will help bubble up the organizational health trend to senior leaders.

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience.

  • Deep technical experience in data analytics, data pipelines, and SQL.

  • Demonstrated ability and expertise writing and presenting reports such as weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews to senior leaders.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and reporting on organization-wide issues, and work with key partners to drive them to resolution.

  • Experience with large-scale, globally complementary teams in a technical environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstratable business maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to think and act broadly and strategically.

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in cloud technologies is a plus, as it will help you understand the intricacies of OCI's products and services.

  • Experience in Oracle Horizon data warehousing is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse data sources andbuild custom dashboards to help senior leaders in decision making. Some projects could involve looking at data pipelines to identify potential to optimize cloud fleet usage or consolidating our understanding of the business across multiple organizations, datasets, and systems.

  • Build performant and robust SQL data pipelines.

  • Serve as a domain expert for several areas of the business.

  • Build and develop relationships across organizations and help to define new operational strategies, working with the leadership team on special projects.

  • Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.

  • Define quarterly and monthly strategic priorities and facilitate workflows by ensuring completeness and advancing them.

  • Drive efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the SVP and the leadership team.
