Google Program Manager, Supply Chain in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Process Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering or Process Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of experience in Demand/Supply Planning, Supply Chain Program Management, Materials Management (e.g., Materials Requirement Planning).

  • Experience in project or program management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in forecasting, planning, or supply chain and implementing process improvements.

  • Experience interacting with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels.

  • Experience in spreadsheets, SQL and scripting.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Passion for automation and process improvements.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.   • Manage and execute processes for timely, cost effective procurement while working closely with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams.

  • Drive timely release of orders, material delivery to hub, and root cause analysis for late deliveries.

  • Source and scale activities with our suppliers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for price, lead-time or shortage issues.

  • Ensure continuous improvement in material delivery metrics, past due orders, shortage management, invoicing.

  • Lead cross-functional program management, ensuring required setup for the suppliers and procurement execution activities are complete.
