Google Product Manager, Cloud Databases in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • 14 years of experience in product management.

  • Experience with Cloud, SaaS, and Enterprise software.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience creating product roadmap(s) from conception to launch, driving the product outlook, defining the go-to-market strategy, and leading design discussions.

  • Experience building and shipping products related to Databases or Data Management.

  • Experience with AI/ML.

As an AI Product Manager for Databases, you will play a pivotal role as the technical/domain expert who manages how AI is infused in our portfolio to make our databases products stronger and how we enable our customers to build more AI infused data-rich applications and workflows.

In this role, you will own the AI product strategy and roadmap for the databases portfolio. You will work closely with our Engineering, Field, and Partner teams and our customers to create bi-directional feedback and make a strong portfolio of our products.

  • Drive AI strategy and roadmap for the databases portfolio, including generative AI requirements on databases.

  • Engage with customers and industry partners to understand their needs and build platform features to enable use cases in a scalable way.

  • Deliver innovative features to support novel use cases via bringing advanced technology and creating amazing user experience.

  • Partner with engineering, research and key stakeholder teams to align roadmap and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) across Google Cloud. Partner with business development and Go-To-Market teams to build growth strategies.

  • Communicate product strategy to executive leaders, engineering, and cross-functional teams, and influence to gain consensus and required resources to deliver.
