The Multi Cloud Data Protection Security team is part of Cloud Security team, within the Technology and Operational Risk organization. The mission of Data Protection is to safely protect the Firm's data, infrastructure, and systems in off-premises environments. This includes teams that define strategy and architecture, manage product lifecycle and features, and build data security applications and services to secure the Firm's journey to the cloud. The successful candidate will be a senior individual contributor or team lead with a background in DevSecOps engineering and an interest in building large-scale, cutting-edge systems to solve complex problems in the cloud.

The Cloud Data Protection Security team sets the vision and strategy for Morgan Stanley's use of cloud security products and services. The team translates that strategy into a product roadmap and backlog and builds data protection software to deliver security capabilities that enable new business and reduce risk to the Firm.

Job Profile

The ideal candidate has strong web development skills with good problem solving and communication skills. The candidate will be responsible for building state of the art innovative web user interfaces using latest web frameworks and should be technically proficient and enthusiastic JavaScript/Angular developer, with a desire to create high quality websites. The candidate will join the current team as the lead developer in India Team, working on building and enhancing the Reviews Platform for the firm. This platform is used firmwide for managing entitlement reviews and broader IAM functions while integrating with the Sailpoint IdentityNow SAAS product.

The candidate will also be taking part in various stages of the delivery and software development process including activities like analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment of strategic and tactical solutions.

The role is focused on using Angular, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, TypeScript, Spring and relational database db2. The role may also involve extensive interaction with business users, operations, or support teams and therefore, requires the ability to communicate clearly and concisely. This is a developer lead position, not a management position; the candidate will be expected to code and deliver software as their primary responsibility.

Primary Skills

Strong Java development. (Minimum 5 Years of experience) Experience of the Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Gradle frameworks.

Professional experience using Angular, Javascript frameworks

At least 2 years of experience in SailPoint, Saviynt, One-Identity or a similar Identity Governance/IAM product. Experienced in Agile software development methodology Experienced in web application security, authentication and SSO technologies Experienced working in Linux/Unix environment Strong communication skills Strong analysis, design, development and problem-solving skills

Good To have Skills

Experience in Sailpoint or similar IAM/IDM products Gradle or a similar build tool Agile
