Copeland Manager / Sr. Manager, Sales – Retail, Cooper Atkins & Cargo Solutions in BENGALURU, India

Responsibilities

Meeting Business Targets - • Responsible for budgeted sales from existing cold chain OEMs, Wholesalers, SSI OEM’s, contractors & end users

Work on new business opportunities & focus actions on developing cold chain projects/ business.

Planning & Reports -Prepare monthly, quarterly & annual sales plan & action plan and execute them to meet targets.

Provide monthly sales review updates, market & competition updates.

End User & Key stakeholders Influence - Meet & influence key end users, influencers, consultants & other stakeholders in the cold chain market.

Conduct product seminars / presentations at the customers end on their own & sometimes along with marketing team.

Finance control - Follow up with customers for payment & monitor their current outstanding payments regularly for ensuring that credit exposure stays under control.

Collect payments on time for keeping DSO under control.

Business Development - Regularly travel in the North & east market to meet end users, contractors, consultants, SSI OEMs, WHS & Institutional customers.

Support WHS to get penetration against new customers and competitors, as well as get direct penetration from target customers.

Work in tandem with Marketing, AE, Product Engineering, Customer communicators, Factory & Quality for qualifying “new products” executing regular as well as new business.

Keep the market updated about new products & technologies, taking sustainable & specific efforts for introducing them in the market for long term business growth.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with specialization in Electronics or Instrumentation

Management degree in Marketing will be an added advantage

10 - 15 years of relevant product & project selling experience, with minimum 4 years experience in HVACR segment. HVACR system knowledge will be handy

Flare for technical sales is a must. In depth knowledge of electronics & IT is expected

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Open to travel & meeting people with different skill sets & background

Must have analytical ability and good with power point presentations.
