Intel Cloud Software Development Engineer in Bengaluru, India

Job Description

Designs, develops, validates, and debugs software to enable Intel hardware features and to optimize for cloud, hybrid cloud, and/or on-prem deployment models. Understands partner software stacks and optimizes full stack software (spanning firmware, drivers, OS, middleware, SDKs, frameworks, algorithms, and applications) as required to enable cloud or platform software. May include the development of reference cloud platform software and improving or enabling customer designs to obtain the greatest value from Intel products within the cloud. May explore or specialize in specific technology domains including data services (ingestion, database, analytics), AI/ML/DL, and opensource development projects to design, develop and implement intelligent and scalable validation strategies, environments and automation/tools. May guide other junior engineers in the team.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in CS +5 years or Masters in CS with 3+ years of experience

  • Development of test framework for validating cloud based services

  • Experience in Kubernetes/container-based application/service validations

  • Experience in cloud software validation, software development lifecycle

  • Experience with test frameworks such as (ex: Selenium, Robot Framework)

  • Experience in developing and automating tests and test tools, implementing and maintaining automated executions in support of CI and CD (using Jenkins)

  • Experience in troubleshooting issues in feature implementation, test code and test environments

  • Proficient in Linux fundamentals/OS, bash scripting, Software version controls (Github)

  • Experience in Python programming

  • Networking concepts and protocols

  • Proactive team player, analytical and innovative thinker, quick learner and good communicator

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AI/ML/DL algorithms and experience

  • Some experience with Golang

  • Agile methodologies for software development

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
