Engineer I


The engineer in this position will:

  • Coordinate with the Textron Aviation Civil Certification group to complete tasks in a timely fashion to support product certification/validation and on-time airplane deliveries.

  • Research and document regulatory requirements and processes documentation required to support domestic and foreign certification, operational requirements, and continued operational safety.

  • Provide support in auditing certification projects.


  • AME /Bachelors in Aeronautical science with 2-4 yrs of relevant experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and interpersonal skills to communicate with domestic and foreign government representatives.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of FAA CFR, JAA JAR, EASA CS requirements and aircraft certification procedures as well as Textron Aviation Engineering procedures is preferred.

  • Knowledge of domestic and international aircraft operational requirements is beneficial.

  • Foreign language skills a plus.

  • Occasional travel within the country may be required.
