Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Be working on Postgres, MSSQL and Oracle databases

• Creating and modifying databases, including tables, indexes, views and DB Partitions.

• Monitoring and optimizing database performance through tuning and indexing.

• Troubleshooting and resolving database and SQL problems.

• Responsible to come up DB scripts to be required to migrate large volumes of data with entities across multiple databases/schemas.

• Collaborating with developers to integrate PL/SQL code with application logic.

• Collaborating with teams to write queries, procedures, functions, triggers and other database activities.

• Work on fine tuning the existing queries.

• Collaborating with clients to fix issues in their environment.

• Collaborating with services team to upgrade the databases to next version.

• Should be able to run traces on database and analyze the queries.
