Actalent Lab Technician in Bend, Oregon

Description:

• Cleans laboratory glassware, disposes of waste and maintains equipment in both current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and non-cGMP laboratories • Performs basic instrument verifications (e.g. balances, pH meter, pipettes), cleaning and preventative maintenance and may communicate with vendors to schedule instrument service visits and update service contracts • Helps support lab inventory systems of general laboratory supplies and arranges ordering to prevent shortages, follows up with vendors, and tracks process • Helps with stability pulls and control of samples and standards in and out of the lab • Prepares dissolution media, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) mobile phases, and other routine laboratory tasks under the direction of laboratory personnel • Supports lab efficiencies as appropriate for type of work (e.g. by preparing solutions or kits as needed) • Issues, reviews and maintains laboratory notebooks, logbooks, and other documentation in accordance with good laboratory practices (GLP)
