Primary Purpose
Support the math department’s staff/faculty in Grandview office area.
Essenatial Duties and Responsibilities
Performing functions such as:
process mail, various data entry tasks, campus errands, filing, labels, merge files, edit office schedules (Word and Outlook), run banner reports then copy, paste and edit into Word or Excel. Create and edit Excel spreadsheets. Stock office supplies, operate copier, complete supporting clerical tasks, banner entries, budget postings, forms, study materials-etc., maintain bulletin boards, and keep info boxes stocked. Other miscellaneous office tasks. Phone and office coverage during Admin Assistant’s absence. Keeping faculty updated in clerical functions for class work. Math Contest preparation, day of and follow up tasks and assistance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Office work experience and CIS software applications (MS Office) knowledge helpful.
Technical writing experience.
Ergonomic Requirements
Work will be performed during regular working hours in an office setting, mostly sitting with some periods of extended standing. Occasional lifting between 10-25 lbs. The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms and requires near visual acuity to write, read written materials and computer screens, and sufficient hearing and speech ability for ordinary telephonic conversations. Computer screen is used more than 50 percent of the time. Must be able to climb or pull self upward and guide, feeding materials into proper position. All individuals are required to be able to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Minimum Requirements
High School diploma or GED
Must have been awarded and accepted Federal Work-Study for 2022-23
Must be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress for financial aid.

Preferred Qualifications
