ASRC Federal Holding Company Engineering Solutions Architect PT ON CALL in Beltsville, Maryland

ASRC Federal is looking for talented and motivated subject matter experts to join our Chief Technical Office as an Engineering Solutions Architect for major proposals.

This position in on call part time to cover project specific programs. It is not a full time position.

This is a remote position.

Key Role:

Lead Technical volumes and RTOs (representative task orders) within their respected areas of expertise as well as building relationships with ASRC Federal SMEs and content providers (including opportunity specific subcontractors) in order to provide winning solutions to government RFPs.

Responsible for formulation of a winning solution, leading a team of SMEs and producing, and formatting technical documentation to include requirements, initial solution concepts, pink and red team documents and oral presentations (if required), as well as design specifications, processes, policies, procedures, plans, architecture documents, CONOPS, presentation materials, reports, white papers, and transition documents i.e. technical support to the full proposal life cycle.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Works with the CTO team and capture team, complete review of DRFP and other documentation determine initial technical solution concept and required SME support to provide a winning solution.

  • Gathers information, interviews subject matter experts, and conducts other research in order to convey technical material in a concise and effective manner.

  • Manages assignments and works independently and actively with SMEs to produce artifacts within the established time frames and in accordance with specified deadlines.

  • Develops content for technical publications and writes hardcopy and online documents. Ensures content is readable, accurate, and compliant with stated requirements.

  • Develops reporting artifacts for executive and senior leaders of varying technical acumen and the Government customer. Provides appropriate context and scope depending on the audience.

  • Works directly in coordination with staff in the CTO, Business Development / Capture, Operations / Program Management to define and produce required documentation.

  • Interviews and builds relationships with technical SMEs and converts technical content to RFP required standards without changing the meaning.

Requirements :

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship Required to meet government clearance requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of related experience

  • Minimum 15 years of related work experience

  • Proficiency with MS-Office Product Suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio

  • Critical thinking and research skills

  • Adapts easily to a dynamic environment

  • SharePoint experiencepreferred, but not required
