About the role

This role will lead, develop and growKerrys enzyme technology business across relevant markets in North America. This role will involve direct hands-on business development work with customers in addition to partnering with Kerry sales team members and EUM teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop robust strategic growth plans for our enzyme technology across bakery, snack and other relevant markets. Provide compelling market positioning and right to win clarity for the technology.

  • Have a strong sales mindset partnering with Kerrys commercial teams and customers to deliver the forecasted revenue and margin targets while building a robust pipeline.

  • Ensure pricing strategies are aligned with technology margin expectations.

  • Be technically credible & confident to independently lead customers discussions pertaining enzyme applications.

  • Build strong relationships externally to drive strategic growth.

  • Proactively partner with sales leaders, customers, marketing & R&D to drive collaborative innovation identifying opportunities, market scale to inform our enzyme portfolio strategy.

  • Support the launch & generate excitement in region for new innovations including sales training, execution plans and positioning with customers.

  • Be an energetic ambassador & educator internally on enzymes developing strong relationships with all functions to execute projects.

Qualifications and skills

  • Industry knowledge and expertise in the application of Kerrys Enzyme portfolio with a core focus in the bakery & snack markets.

  • Commercially driven with an aptitude and track record delivering business growth.

  • The candidate should have strong communication skills, proactively progress business initiatives and collaborate across a matrix structure consisting of many teams and channels.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and curious mindset to solve problems.

  • Strong execution skills yet displaying the ability to adopt a strategic approach.

  • Have substantial business development experience with a strong technical foundation in enzyme applications across bakery, snack and other relevant markets.

  • The ideal candidate should be recognized as a subject matter expert in the use of enzymes across multiple applications.

  • Availability to travel 60% of time.

  • 5 years experience in Business Development. Business qualified at Masters level or above will be an advantage

Compensation Data

The typical hiring range for this role is $120,838 to $186,637 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
