Supervise all daily maintenance functions in support of the plant

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

· Organize the work of the hourly maintenance team

· Supervise a team of technicians: integrate, train, appraise, redefine responsibilities, provide feedback, ensure development and gauge training needs, delegate, instill a sense of responsibility, set targets, communicate instructions, control, listen

· Conduct interviews as necessary

· Provide reports to management

· Record maintenance data

· Monitors Work orders, PM’s, and expenses for the maintenance budget

· Propose technical and organizational improvements to management

Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education

· High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)

· Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Associate's Degree, Certificate or Apprenticeship, and/or equivalent experience

Experience

· Electrical and mechanical repair on production and utility equipment

· 2 Years experience in dairy production and/or food industry or similar manufacturing environment

· 2 Years experience in a management/supervisory role

· Stable and dependable work history is required

Specialized Knowledge

· Sound maintenance practice, quality, food safety, and health and safety

· Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology

· Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance

· Knowledge of electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming

Skills/Abilities

· Individual must be capable of working independently in adherence to regulations

· Must manage stress and remain calm under pressure

· Individual must be able to demonstrate an inquiring mind and well-developed observational skills

· Must be able to perform a multitude of tasks, strong communication abilities both written and verbal, and data entry accuracy

The ideal candidate will be proactive and dynamic, flexible and receptive to new ideas, down to earth and pragmatic, analytical and attentive to detail. Capable of working independently in adherence to regulations, of managing stress and remaining calm under pressure, and be able to demonstrate an inquiring mind and well-developed observational skills. Will demonstrate a sense of responsibility and high professional standards, honesty and integrity, and objectivity. Possess values of ambition and engagement, with simplicity.

Salary Description

$75,000 to $95,000
