Tri-Rinse Production Operator in Belmond, Iowa

Starting salary Up to $20 (based on experience) + $2 shift differential

Eligible for pay increase at 90 days

We are seeking highly motivated wash and repair operators, for our Belmond, IA location, to wash and repair plastic seed bin containers using a variety of hand tools and plastic welding equipment.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Evaluate seed bins, determine necessary repairs

    • Wash seed bins using power sprayers

    • Cut out replacement sections from a scrap seed bin

    • Plastic weld the replacement section using proper welding techniques

    • Diagnose common equipment problems and effectively communicate with maintenance

    personnel

    • Coordinate with team members for maximum production efficiency

    • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for minimum downtime and maximum

    throughput

    • Use basic hand tools for routine equipment adjustment and repairs

    • Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be able to recognize colors

    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

    • Good mechanical aptitude

    • Good math skills

    • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills

    • Plastic Welding experience preferred

    • Experience using grinders, saws all, drills and Dremel tools preferred

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

    ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Industrial warehouse environment.
