Position Purpose:

Enable business success through effective administration and execution of HR programs, policies and practices that encourage employee engagement and manager capability at First Fed Bank.

 

Essential Functions:

Approve new hire comp and wage increases for non-exempt employees. Participate in annual compensation surveys, perform analysis of compensation data and practices, and recommend compensation policy and practice updates.  Maintain current job descriptions, approve updates, and ensure comp is aligned with scope of each job.

Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and inquires, providing guidance and support on HR related issues. Conduct investigations and develop fair and timely resolution.  Create a fair, equitable, and accountable work environment through consistent employee relations work.       

Participate in internal and external audits of HR processes, practices, and benefits administration.

Manage the maintenance of the HR Hub and Supervisor Hub with current HR policies, processes, programs, and procedures that align with the bank's Mission, Vision and Values and comply federal/state employment laws, while supporting the needs of employees and the bank. Evaluate and ensure timely revisions are completed as needs arise.

Provide counsel, guidance and support to executives, managers, supervisors, and employees on various human resources issues including the interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures, federal and state regulations governing all areas of employment and labor law.

Participate in Talent Management, Career Pathing, and development activities to support internal growth of our employees.

Coordinate HR projects and initiatives in support of organizational objectives. Conduct research, develop recommendations and implementation plan. Collaborate with HR team and other bank staff as needed to ensure successful implementation. May also participate as a subject matter expert on projects with internal customers performing various roles based on the scope and needs of the project.

Ensure collaboration with internal customers to understand business requirements and objectives to design, create and roll out reporting and analytic solutions. Create ad hoc reports and analysis as requested. Proactively identify opportunities for reporting so
