Job Purpose: Supports operations by preparing and cleaning work sites; maintaining supplies and materials; performing steps in work processes; maintaining records. Duties: * Organizes work by checking work schedule. * Prepares work site by obtaining and delivering equipment, tools, supplies, and materials. * Maintains clean and safe work site by removing debris; sweeping and erecting barriers; disposing of hazardous materials; following safety rules and procedures; wearing personal protective equipment. * Maintains work supplies and materials by openly communicating with onsite supervisor, loading items on trucks,  moving items to site; unloading items and end of day reloading items on truck. * Returns items to storage inventory by loading, moving, and unloading items. * Supports work processes by demonstrating ability to lay piping in ditch, operate small hand tools efficiently always in a safe manner, spot for operators while digging, grade checking, ability to rake , shovel and sweep materials on site. * Maintains work records by entering daily time sheets and work completed. * Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. * Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. *Experienced in underground utilities such as sewer and water lines. Skills/Qualifications: Lifting, Planning, Inventory Management, Inventory Control, General Math Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Power Tools, Automotive simple maintenance, grade checking, installation piping materials for utilities, footing drains, stormwater, ect. Must be 18 year old or older.
