Amazon is seeking a Sr. Product Manager who will be part of a group that’s defining and building fleet connected vehicle capabilities supporting Amazon’s current and future initiatives.

At Amazon we are building a world class last mile operation, significantly complimented by Delivery Service Partners (DSP). A DSP will hire and develop a team of high-performing drivers. The Last Mile team is hiring a Senior Product Manager to deploy strategic initiatives in vehicle telematics reaching across all functions of this fast paced and growing organization.

In this role, the ideal candidate will have a history of successfully launching impactful automotive consumer features and products, specifically focusing on telematics/connected cars domain. We're looking for an individual who is highly analytical, can collaborate effectively across teams, and excels in entrepreneurial, fast-paced work environments.

Be the single threaded leader driving the telematics product strategy and roadmap for Last Mile delivery vehicles across the North America fleet.

Collecting feedback from product users to build next generation telematics products

Own drafting PRFAQs, BRDs and design user stories

Lead the product development process, coordinating with engineering, program, OEMs and business teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.

Work within time constraints and deliver results to meet critical business needs

A day in the life

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the requirements for the next generation of telematics products and services. This role is inherently cross-functional. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, business development, and other leaders to bring products to market and identify growth opportunities for Amazon and automotive partners.

We are a tightly-knit product team dedicated to designing and maintaining telematics and remote vehicle controls products with a massive customer impact. Leveraging data and customer feedback, we solve complex problems, working across multiple partner teams with functions ranging from tech development to communications. Our vision is to build the world's safest transportation network.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Proficiency with data analytics.

  • Excellent product management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams demonstrating experience in owning/driving roadmap strategy with end-to-end product delivery.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
