Job Description

This organizations Infrastructure (gas and electric transmission and distribution) Program Management (IPM) is looking for a Performance and Change Consultant to support a Grid Modernization initiative. The Grid Modernization initiative is taking a holistic approach to updating and improving our infrastructure to create a grid that is reliable, resilient, smart, and flexible. Grid modernization will be safe and designed to meet our customers unique energy needs and expectations.

- Evaluates, recommends, and implements strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of service, processes, reliability, and compliance processes including alignment with other priorities and technology initiatives.

- Researches and analyzes available data and recommends and/or implements appropriate actions to achieve results.

- Uses sophisticated analytics and statistical methods to study and analyze available data and to determine trends, root cause, metrics, leading and lagging indicators.

- Develops, prepares and present analysis and reports.

- Ensures quality and consistency of methodology, metrics, analysis, and documentation.

- Provides support for other departmental and corporate priorities and projects.

Skills and Requirements

- Bachelors degree in business, engineering or technology; or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience

- 7 years of experience successfully leading/implementing multi-disciplined projects and initiatives

- 7 years of experience utilizing high-involvement process improvement or change management techniques/tools

- Exceptional data acquisition, manipulation, and analytical skills

- Exceptional in Excel (manipulating data and macros) and PowerBI (acquiring/manipulating data and reporting)

- Program and/or project management experience

- Utility or telecom experience - Experience with scheduling (Primavera P6), data manipulation in SQL, and estimating (WinEst)

- Experience with budgeting/forecasting programs and portfolios null
