Meta Software Engineering Manager, Infrastructure - Reality Labs in Bellevue, Washington

Required Skills:

Software Engineering Manager, Infrastructure - Reality Labs Responsibilities:

  1. Be both highly technical, hands-on coder and an effective people manager

  2. Communicate across functions and drive engineering initiatives

  3. Participate in technical design

  4. Be a subject matter expert in the infrastructure domain

  5. Define and influence product strategy

  6. Develop and support processes to maintain uptime, SLAs and availability of critical platform components

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of software engineering work experience, including hands-on technical management

  2. 5+ years experience coding in one of the following languages: C++, Java, Python and/or PHP

  3. Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management

  4. BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent

  5. 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams

  1. Experience with CI/CD, software configuration management systems and/or source code version control systems like Git and Mercurial.

  2. Experience in automation for consumer electronics.

Public Compensation:

$177,000/year to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
