Description

Are you interested in developing large-scale strategic initiatives in the dynamic Global Logistics industry? Amazon Global Logistics is on a mission to eliminate borders between Selling Partners and buying customers and create new logistics benchmarks.

The Global Logistics Pricing Strategy team empowers our global business to find strategic harmony between growth and profit tradeoffs, while seeking long-term customer value and financial health. We build tools and processes to help identify and drive synergy among supply, demand, operational, and economic planning.

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead Pricing Strategy for the Amazon Managed Placement (AMP) and Storage products worldwide. You will develop pricing strategy vision and its corresponding price positioning, market benchmarking, profit analyses, and demand impact. This means you should be comfortable with communicating, supporting your points of view, and being vocal on relevant business questions as needed. Ownership, analytical acumen, thoughtful articulation, and ability to influence are essential to success in this role.

Key job responsibilities

  • Define pricing strategies incorporating product value, customer feedback, market analysis, demand assessment, and profit evaluation.

  • Establish performance metrics and implement review mechanisms to continuously improve pricing decisions.

  • Collaborate extensively with Sales, Finance, Operations, and BI teams to develop a vision and prioritize the roadmap.

  • Drive new pricing launches such as introducing new product values, lanes, and fee structures, while supporting the associated Go-to-Market strategy.

  • Identify cost elements influenced by pricing to enhance profitability across products and lanes.

  • Assist in global business reviews and pricing narratives (MBR, QBR, 3YP, OP) for Amazon Managed Placement and Storage offerings, and facilitate leadership reviews and discussions.
