Jacobs Facilities Support Professional/Receptionist in Bellevue, Washington

Your Impact:

As the Facility Support Professional, your role is critical to keep our offices running and allowing our teams to focus on delivering. As part of our Real Estate Operations, you’ll join our collaborative team providing our corporate offices with reception/front desk support, administrative support, mail and courier services, onboarding POC support, and related facilities activities.

We are looking for a full-time Receptionist/Facilities Professional who is driven by collaboration, exceeding expectations, and challenging the status quo. You are the face of Jacobs as visitors, clients and our own teams enter the facilities. Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment. Working together, we’ll help you grow and pursue what fulfills you so that we can make impacts on the future – big and small, global and local.

As the Facilities Support Professional, you’ll:

  • Develop and nurture key relationships with Facility and Office Manager, Office Employees, Visitors and Guests

  • Answer and appropriately direct incoming calls greet visitors; determine nature of business and direct to appropriate individual.

  • Prepare and process incoming and outgoing mail (includes determining and affixing postage).

  • Maintain neat and organized and safe office.

  • Manage conference room use, reconcile conflicts, and post schedules.

  • May assist with meeting setup, including procuring food and equipment.

  • Purchase and stock office supplies.

  • Responds to requests for facility maintenance or repair and contact property management or external providers as appropriate.

  • Help to direct staff to corporate guidance on “best practices” for archiving, and coordinate box storage and retrieval.

  • Create or order Jacobs identification badges and provide building or suite access card management.

  • Maintain guest and visitor sign in/out; oversee the distribution and return of employee and visitor access badges.

  • Deliver excellent customer support to both internal staff and external clients, visitors, and vendors.

Additional notes

  • May perform tasks that are custodial in nature, including those related to office and break room/kitchen maintenance.

  • Role is office-based.

  • May require occasional, rare after-hours work during a facility project or emergency event.
