Amazon Event Program Manager, Amazon Shipping in Bellevue, Washington

Description

This role is open for the Bellevue, WA location and is part of a team based in Bellevue, WA. The Transportation, Shipping, and Logistics at Amazon organization collectively represents some of the most critical components of Amazon’s first-class transportation network. Everything we do is aimed at further delighting our customers with faster, cheaper, and more efficient means of receiving packages. Backed by Amazon’s reliable transportation network, Amazon Shipping is a small package ground delivery service available to Amazon selling partners.

We are seeking an Event Program Manager to support the Amazon Shipping and freight-specific products. The role provides event intake management, calendar, organizational, reporting, and administrative support for events and content marketing. The primary focus supports intake management and calendar logistics for events. A successful candidate will be able to step seamlessly into a corporate office environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills, impeccable customer service attitude, and be energetically driven to serve our customers and our team.

Key/Primary job responsibilities

•Event support request intake, including tiered system of event management

•Regular scheduling of booking requests and meetings management

•Maintains multiple event calendars

•Manages meetings effectively; provides supporting documentation and aligns stakeholders

•Improves efficiencies and works to optimize processes

•Coordinates project-related data and reporting

•Works on defined projects, with straightforward goals

•Able to identify blockers, and facilitate progress

•Budgeting and payment processing for the content and events team

•Supports team members on collaborative projects for content and events

Basic Qualifications

•3+ years of professional non-internship job experience

•Experience in a marketing role

•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Business, or relevant field

•Excellent ability to communicate effectively across varied stakeholder audiences, including senior organizational leaders

•Comfortable navigating a high-volume, fast-paced, rapidly-changing, results-oriented work environment

•Ability to manage deadlines and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

•Strong project management skills and analytical ability

•Strong oral and written communication abilities

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $52,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $125,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
