Details: An Electrical Design Engineering Co-Op job in Tukwila, WA is currently available at Belcan supporting a Boeing Commercial Derivative Program. To be considered for this role, you must be currently enrolled in an accredited university or college. The Academic to Industry (A2I) co-op experience includes dedicated professional development, mentoring, and meaningful technical opportunities based on your career goals! As a design co-op you will support electrical wire routing installation and design. Job Duties: * Work with client-integrated product teams to develop detailed designs of structural components * Develops solutions to a wide range of technical problems which require ingenuity and innovation * Works according to established guidelines and schedules * Collaboration with client-integrated product teams * Engineering support for various functional areas (manufacturing, materials, structures, electrical, etc.) Required: * Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college; working toward an aeronautical/Astronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical/Civil degree * Must be available for full-time Co-Op Mid-June through December 2024 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite * Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required Preferred: * Experience with CATIA V5 is preferred though other 3D CAD Packages can be considered * Proficiency with Microsoft office tools * Effective oral and written collaborative engineering environment communication skills Compensation: $26.50/hour As an employee with Belcan, you will be part of one of the largest engineering firms in the United States.
