Job Description

An employer is looking for a DoD Secret Cleared Escort in Tyson, VA. The Insight Global Sovereign Cloud Escort Team is currently hiring for a cleared escort role to a growing Cloud Services organization supporting federal and state customers. The team provides virtual escort services for non-cleared individuals to operate in secured environments under the direction of a component team SME. The role of an escort is to assist component teams with proactive, reactive, and change work and act as the front door of the service while taking direction from the requesting engineers. Our team is engaged by component teams to escort them into the secured environment as well as run commands which will be provided by and the results will be shared and then work with the developers to maintain and troubleshoot the environment. This requires a natural problem-solving mindset as well as a proactive one to accurately decipher and define the requirements of the requestor, streamline t! he engagement processes, while maintaining a positive customer experience through the lifeline of an Escort request.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

-Work with software developers and service engineers to resolve service incidents, and deploy workflows

-Triage tickets to appropriate team members to effectively fulfill the escort requests

-Maintain security clearances, eligibilities to the supported customer environments, and provide weekly reporting on the status of such eligibilities

-Maintain continued focus on data handling and protection procedures to protect confidential and secure information from spillage

-Maintain proper notes during and after escort requests to ensure the details of the request are properly captured and displayed in the ticket history

-Training during downtime to develop and strengthen service engineering skills Server+, Network+, Security+, AD Administration, design and deplo! yment of Exchange Server.

Skills and Requirements

  • PowerShell experience is highly preferred - ability to read and run pre-written cmdlets and retrieve data independently

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Production System Maintenance experience - security patching, service account maintenance, live escorting, and certificate renewal

  • Must be self-driven and motivated to continually learn and grow in the role. There will be downtime for the first few months in the role, thus we are looking for self-starters to use that time effectively for training, professional development, etc.

  • Must be process and detailed oriented

  • Possesses excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Strong and effective customer service skills.

  • Willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays

  • Experience working with globally distributed teams a strong plus - Exchange Server experience is highly preferred - deployments, break fix, domain creation, AD structure, etc.

  • Active Directory administration

  • TCP/IP, DNS, Hyper-V, Virtual Machines, Network Monitoring, Fiddler, Send Connectors

  • Programming/Scripting experience: C#, PowerShell

  • SQL Experience - data retrieval (t-sql)

  • Technical writing experience for SOP documentation

  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems associated with the server's hardware, applications, and security

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the administration of Windows servers, domain servers, supporting desktops, desktop applications, and Active Directory

  • Familiar with Microsoft group and security policy design and implementation

  • Experienced in troubleshooting and maintaining a Multi-Tenant Cloud Computing Environment null
