Concur Technologies, Inc. seeks a DevOps Engineer in Bellevue, WA responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of customer environments in Cloud of respective product lines and ensure delivery according to defined Service Level Agreements. Contribute to the development of automated solutions for anomaly detection and incident auto remediation. Performs automation and standardization. Monitor and measure systems for performance, load & capacity planning. Ensure smooth operations and maximize uptime. Participate in incident management and resolution, contribute to incident root cause analysis. Assist Research & Development (R&D) teams in the delivery of production ready services. Collaborates with engineering and product management as well as other service groups. Improves system landscape support in the assigned functional areas of responsibility. Independent assurance of effective system operations along the software lifecycle. Provide knowledge management in the team and between operations and development. Ensure excellent quality and maintain high standards in all processes listed in the relevant process map. Contribute to operations model/operational processes and procedures.

Minimum Education/Experience: Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. The company will also accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Position requires 2 years of experience involving each of the following:

  • Docker;
  • Kubernetes;
  • Jenkins;
  • Ansible;
  • Python;
  • BASH;
  • GIT or Github;
  • Apache Tomcat; and
  • MSSQL or MySQL.

Telecommuting permitted. Position can be based in any U.S. location.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary for this position is $182,312. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $182,312 - $196,400 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
