Description: An Aerospace Verification and Validation Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Bellevue, WA. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have 3+ years' experience , either development or verification, a minimum of 1-year experience with embedded avionics development (requirements, design, and coding) and have an Engineering or Computer Science degree. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits including eligible for overtime pay.

Job Duties:

· Subset of the software lifecycle (planning, requirement definition, design, implementation, integration, testing, and results documentation)

· Coordination with team members, customers, and leadership to support project goals

· Candidates are expected to help raise the level of performance of the team, through a collaborative team setting, consistent communication, and willingness to help others achieve success

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline

· 3+ years' experience with subset of the software lifecycle, including requirements and design development

· 1+ years' experience with embedded software development; specifically Python programming

· Ability/desire to adhere to project software lifecycle processes

· Interpersonal and communication skills

· DO-178 knowledge

· Due to the nature of the work performed, U.S. Citizenship is a required

· Candidate must be available to travel up to 25%, to various client sites

· Experience with C/C++, Java, Ruby, Rust, bash, or similar scripting language

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $100,000 to $120,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
