Holycode SQL Developer - Nidec team in Belgrade, Serbia

We at Holycode are currently looking for a SQL Developer, with strong skills and proven experience, who is ready to dive into international company Nidec, for a full-time engagement, here in our Belgrade office.

Job Summary  

This position will be responsible for developing reports and forms to support the organization’s needs. This position will need to become an expert in understanding the company’s master and transactional data. The primary solutions used for reporting development will be SQL Reporting Services, Power BI, Excel, SQL Analysis Services, and other tools as appropriate. The company is current working on a transformation, and it is expected this position to support the implementation of it. 

Job Duties  

  • Collaborate with business analysts to ensure appropriate approach and tools for supporting report and forms requests  

  • Standardize and consolidate development approaches to streamline delivery and support of solutions developed 

  • Ensures all reports and forms have a high level of professionalism including formatting, naming conventions, and performance 

  • Develops all needed reports as requested by the business 

  • Develops all needed forms as requested by the business 

  • Test all Development work to ensure accuracy of data and integrity of report/form 

  • Reviewing the number of reports and forms so that through consolidating and obsoleting as appropriate, the number of reports and forms are kept to a reasonable amount 

  • Working with the business to develop appropriate security models for securing reports 

  • Maintains and leverages source control and change management processes to ensure stability and integrity of changes 

Requirements:  

Education and Experience  

Minimum: 3-4 Years experience with minimum a Bachelor's degree.  

Preferred:  

  • Experience working with technical platforms and associated integration techniques 

  • Strong trouble-shooting, problem resolution, and analytical skills 

  • ERP and BI application knowledge in the business process area 

  • Financial/Production Data experience a plus 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities  

  • Extensive experience developing data sourcing towards reports and forms supporting a manufacturing organization 

  • Extensive experience developing data structuring and sourcing towards reports and forms supporting a sales organization 

  • A minimum of intermediate experience with cloud platforms and storages (Oracle Cloud, AWS, GCP & similar) 

  • A minimum of intermediate experience with developing and maintaining BI oriented central repositories of integrated data such as data lakes and data warehouses. 

  • Proven track record of successfully designing, developing, implementing, and actively managing SQL Servers for BI & Analytics purposes - SQL Server and SQL Toolset (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS), including stored procedure development 

  • Ability to understand the source data and the associated output/display requirements 

  • Ability to translate business requirements into data delivery solutions 

  • Ability to analyze source data for potential data quality issues and recommend a proper course of action 

  • Strong written and oral communications skills 

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to present ideas in user-friendly language 

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, but also able to work independently 

  • Able to apply critical thinking skills and be technically creative 

  • Strong desire to establish standards of best practice 

  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in order to plan and accomplish goals 

  • Self-motivated and takes initiative in performing
