Acumatica Senior Software Developer (Reporting & Core) in Belgrade, Serbia

Acumatica is hiring a Senior Software Developer  for our  Platform, Reporting & Core team  in Belgrade, Serbia! 

  

About the role: 

In this role, you will primarily work on the reporting features of Acumatica ERP, such as a reporting engine for data analytics, report designer, dashboard engine and UI designer, pivot tables (OLAP), financial statements engine, dynamic table data representation, OData API endpoints, and PDF and Excel integrations, creating a new generation of our reporting capabilities. Instead of relying on software developers to write reports for end customers, we strive to provide easy-to-use, UI-based reporting tools that do not require any software development skills or even SQL knowledge to use them. 

  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Development of reporting tools and engines; 

  • Developing web interfaces and designers for editing and configuring various reporting tools; 

  • Designing the architecture for new functionality and independently implementing new features; 

  • Providing technical leadership in the reporting areas and participating in code reviews; 

  • Working with product managers and business analysts on the product design of the reporting features; 

  • Working with technical support teams on support incidents (investigation and resolution) and fixing the discovered defects, if any; 

  • Supporting, optimizing, and improving existing code base. 

Desirable skills: 

  • At least 3+ years of software development experience; 

  • High proficiency in C# and .NET (or other programming languages, but willing to learn/improve C# is must); 

  • Practical experience with RDBMS and SQL; 

  • Experience with version control systems (we use Git); 

  • Experience in creating reporting engines, report writers, report designers, or BI tools (DevExpress Reporting, Crystal Reports, ActiveReports, FastReport); 

  • Being able to master a large volume of existing code base and our existing reporting tools, both from the technical and product standpoint; 

  • Product-oriented mindset and ability to make technical decisions based on business goals; 

  • Knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript and experience with popular UI frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, AngularJS, Aurelia) is a plus; 

  • You have a willingness to work with other teams and support engineers to investigate, gather product feedback, and solve problems.
