The Opportunity

As a Senior Compliance Analyst at Nutanix, you will help to identify data insights and design analytics so that Nutanix can monitor and prevent compliance risk, including bribery, corruption and violations of sanctions. You would be responsible for working with Nutanix attorneys and subject matter experts to understand how compliance risk may present itself in data and design analytics to identify potential risks in our business. This role will also partner closely with the Sales Operation Data Analytics & Reporting team. What makes this role interesting and unique is the opportunity to leverage your skills and experience to promote a culture of integrity within Nutanix and help the company achieve its mission by avoiding compliance incidents.

This is the first compliance analyst position at Nutanix, so you will have the opportunity to help build a compliance data analytics program from the ground up. The ability to work independently and exercise creativity in designing analytics without clear examples or existing models will be essential to this role.

This position will report to the Head of Compliance & Investigations (located in Washington, DC) and will require significant engagement with other US.-based compliance professionals. This role will be based in Belgrade and will be co-located with members of the Nutanix Legal Team as well as members of the Sales Operation Data Analytics & Reporting team.

Compliance & Investigations at Nutanix

The Compliance & Investigations team is part of the Nutanix Legal Department and is committed to building a modern, data-driven compliance program that enables business mitigates risk. You will help to design and build our compliance program and have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams around the world to understand compliance risk and design appropriate analytics.

Your Role

  • Partner with subject matter experts to identify internal and external data sets that may inform risk.

  • Ability to synthesize compliance problems into strategic and actionable insights.

  • Understand both compliance and business context, needs, and translate them into analytical solutions.

  • Collect functional and application data requirements from teams. Integrate standard methodologies in each application development, data visualization and process flow.

  • Use external databases to create analysis solutions. Create various ad – hoc reports as needed.

  • You will ensure that the work is organized with clear outcomes, deliverables, and timelines.

  • You will investigate, report, and where possible, address data issues.

  • Develop process documentation and departmental procedures.

  • Develop reports & dashboards which can help the teams to design compliance solutions and to meet their day-to-day business needs.

  • Execution of new assignments and projects collaborating with team members by providing them necessary technical support

What You Will Bring

  • Strong knowledge on Tableau dashboard– development

  • Strong knowledge of SQL for creating reports is required

  • Ability to provide strategic business guidance and expertise through data visualization, data mining and storytelling supported with data best practice

  • Experience in creating Excel reports and Dashboards merging data for diverse data sources

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills and able to work in fast, paced, high volume of data

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas verbally and through documentation

  • Experience working in an onshore – offshore model with teams from different time zones and cultures
