Bear Paw Landscapes (Belgrade, MT) seeks a Mechanic to ensure the proper maintenance and repair of the landscaping equipment and vehicles. Specific duties include: perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various landscape equipment as well as snowplows and salt spreaders, such as cleaning and oiling parts, honing cylinders, tuning ignition systems; test and inspect engines to determine malfunctions, preform diagnostics with use of computer diagnostic tools and scanners; locate missing and broken parts, repair defective engines or engine components; perform repairs on a variety of heavy equipment such as loaders, skid steers, and excavators, ensuring their proper functioning and safety compliance; repair and maintain gasoline and diesel engines used to power equipment; repair electrical systems; verify repairs using diagnostic instruments.Position requires HS diploma and 2 years of experience in the position offered, or as an Energomechanic, Electro-mechanic, or similar engine repair and maintenance position. Specific Experience must include each of the following: repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components of mobile equipment; using hand and power tools such as diagnostic equipment, winch, cutting torch, welding equipment, screwdrivers, wrenches, and grinders.Permanent position.
