Why this job matters

As the Commercial Specialist you will execute a range of workstreams in delivering large and complex commercial and contract processes, managing and monitoring major deals across the BT Group's services and product portfolio, managing risks. This role is a hybrid Business Manager / Commercial Specialist position, where you will be responsible for the contractual obligations of some of BTs largest private sector customers, working closely with finance and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely management of the revenues and costs to the P&L. This role will be a broad commercial role across different types of contracts.

What you’ll be doing

  • Accountable for the overall performance of specified contracts, including financial, service delivery, client and partner interfaces and development of the contract.

  • Responsible for monthly management of the NI private sector P&L and associated trackers.

  • Maintain customer relationships and customer satisfaction, ensuring appropriate governance structures are aligned to contract requirements. This includes travelling to customer sites for face-to-face meetings.

  • Deliver contract commitments within cost margins, ensuring obligations are met in a timely efficient manner.

  • Support the Account Director and Account Team in delivery of account plan.
