As a Security Consultant, you'll be the guardian of confidentiality, integrity, and availability, ensuring organizations are shielded from the ever-evolving threat landscape. Your expertise will be sought after as you assess, analyze, and implement effective security measures in customer environments, leaving no stone unturned when it comes to safeguarding their most sensitive data.
Collaboration will be your forte, as you work closely with clients to understand their unique security requirements and assess their current security posture. Armed with this knowledge, you'll provide expert guidance and recommendations on the best security practices, risk management strategies, and robust security policies that will fortify their defenses.
You won't stop at providing advice; you'll roll up your sleeves and get hands-on. Designing and implementing security controls, policies, and procedures will be your playground. You'll work alongside cross-functional teams to deploy state-of-the-art technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, access controls, and encryption technologies, ensuring a comprehensive security framework.

Required Skills and Experience
Understanding and application of NIST Control Framework, Critical Security Controls and other related regulatory and compliance frameworks
Experience of advising on the management and enforcement of information security policies, training and educating end-users on proper security practices, conducting security and risk assessments using security frameworks (e.g., NIST, RMF, Common Criteria, etc.), mitigating risk via security controls, testing and evaluation to certify and accredit commercial security products, ensuring privacy of data throughout its life-cycle, vulnerability management (scanning, assessment, reporting, and mitigation verification), business continuity and disaster recovery.
Experience of advising on managing risks related to the use of processing, storing, or transmitting information to reduce or eliminate impact, integrity, or availability of information and information systems.
Experience of developing long term security strategies.
Experience of advising on meeting both regulatory and non-regulatory compliance demands.
Deep understanding of native cloud security capabilities for one or more Cloud Service Providers.
Deep understanding of maturity of cloud security capabilities (ie gaps to provide appropriate security solution coverage).
Deep experience in providing security support to cloud transformation programmes.
Deep experience of well-known industry standards e.g., NIST, CSA, CIS Benchmarks.
One or more security certification, e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP or CCSK
Preferred Skills and Experience
Ability to lead projects from start to finish and work independently.
Experience of endpoint security capabilities e.g., Anti-Virus, Anti-Malware, File Integrity Monitoring, Vulnerability Management, Host Intrusion Detection and Prevention Services.
Experience of endpoint security solution components e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Manager suite, Crowdstrike, Trend Micro, Qualys, Tripwire.
Experience of developing security operations use cases based on threats and data analysis.
Experience of the integration of threat intelligence with security operations.
Experience of the integration of data sources in to SIEM tooling.
Experience of one of more SIEM technologies, including volumetrics, e.g., QRadar, Arcsight, Sentinel, Chronicle.
Experience of automated security operations response capabilities.
Experience of IAM services e.g., Authentication, Authorisation, Identity Provisioning.
Experience of IAM capabilities e.g., Roles and Entitlements, Access Control, Privileged Access, Identity Governance.
Experience of IAM solution components e.g., Sailpoint, Okta, Cyberark.
One or more Cloud Service Provide Professional certifications, e.g. Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Google Cloud Digital Leader, Google Cloud Engineer.
Experience in assisting stakeholders in quantifying risks and developing mitigation and remediation strategies.
